Designs on Democracy Roundtables for Progressive Graphic Designers
1st Tuesdays of each month, 6:30-9:00, Eastside Arts Alliance, 2277 International Blvd. at 23rd Ave., Oakland (Fruitvale BART). The legacy of the Designs on Democray conference continues at these roundtables and presentations. Each month will have a different topic. These roundtables aim to strengthen our ability to provide the social justice movement with effective graphic design, visual communications and other advertising services. Recognizing that we play a vital role in countering the propaganda of the right, we want to foster communication, sharing and collaboration between like-minded activist-designers (and eliminate/reduce competition).[Designs on Democracy blog]
